Finale - Devlog 15

Its finally over...

What I Learned:

The biggest take away I have from this project is that I need to be programming with systems in mind. Ragdolly is a mess under the hood. The way I have stuff set up just made it extremely difficult to get motivated to work on this project. I also learned how important audio is.  Kicking the ball, for example, feels 10x better with the sound.

What Went Well:

I think the game turned out pretty fun. It was always fun playtesting this, especially with someone who has never played it before. The main goal I had with this project was to create a game where the player has to learn how to walk again and I sort of achieved that. Seeing all the different tech people were using to move was honestly my favourite part of this whole project.

In Future, I will:

Programme with systems in mind. I've already began doing this on a different project and its already so much nicer to add in new things.

Thank you for playing Ragdolly and thank you twice as much for reading these devlogs.
